You found me!

Now, that’s a feat worth featuring. You see, I spend most of my days out on Wild Side, weighing the sunrise. It’s not that I’m hard to find; you’ve just got to know where to look.

So … you found me. Well done.

‘Course, it’s possible you just happened to stumble across my back trail, and now you’re wondering exactly what manner of beast you’ve got sighted.

On that score, you can put your mind at ease: I’m a storyteller. Mostly harmless. I specialize in humorous yarns and the occasional rhyming recitation. I’ve also been known to wander hitherin yawn, as you can plainly see from my blog.

Howdy. I’m Abner. Pleased to make your acquaintance.

Though the changes will be gradual, I expect everything…

  • Day 64: Mondovi to Urne, WI

Remember our first night camping out in the woods of Wisconsin? Remember how the mosquitoes almost drained us dry? Well, the mozzies are gone now, but the horseflies are still buzzing around, and the gnats have joined them. We walked a good part of the day without any breeze — enveloped by a cloud of…
