Today’s vlog is a quiet one, as I didn’t have a lot to say. But that doesn’t mean there was nothing to see.
For several days, I’ve been seeing these peculiar designs painted on barns or freestanding signboards. Sometimes the barn would look like the thought of falling down had crossed its mind, but it was afraid somebody would make it get up again. But no matter the condition of the barn, that design would always be fresh and bright and colorful.

I have since learned these are barn quilts, and they are found all over Southern Ontario. Perhaps if I’d known sooner, I’d have altered my route. But then, where’s the fun in discovering what you already know?
Anyway, now you know as much as I do about barn quilts. If you want to learn more, this website might be a good place to start: https://barnquilttrails.ca/
