Day 38: Wallaceburg, ON to Fair Haven, MI

Well! We had a bit of an adventure crossing Walpole Island, Canada en route to the ferry that would take us across the St. Clair River and into Michigan. Google Maps did send us on the most direct pedestrian route, but Google Maps didn’t check the weather reports first.

Still and all, we made it to the terminal well before the first ferry left the dock at 2:15 pm. Only four cars lined up to make the crossing. We were the only pedestrians. It’s not a terribly busy border crossing.

And so the adventure continues!
