Some days are just a jumble of images and memories. Some of them I manage to capture on video and some I don’t. Today’s unphotographed memories include handing out Legend of Pedestrio business cards: to a nurse I met on my way into Zumbrota; to a whole tableful of regulars at Bridget’s Cafe; and to the mayor of Wanamingo, who served us lunch at Fuel — a restaurant inside a filling station in Wanamingo.
They also include the sight of a portable outhouse crashing off a truck and spinning on its side in the middle of the highway. It was too far away to catch on film — but I’m not sorry that it didn’t fall off right in front of me.
Also not filmed was the dog who decided to be friends and left muddy paw marks on the front of my bright yellow tee shirt. But more on that tomorrow.
